Sichuan Earthquake

Recently, devastating images in the news from the Sichuan Earthquake sadden me. Undoubtly, we feel depressed when we talk about Sichuan Earthquake.

The Sichuan Earthquake was at a magnitude of 7.8 on the Richter Scale, it has affected over half of our china. It killed more than 20.000 peoples. Our premier wen jia bo has appeared in many areas stricken and was extremely concerned about the victims of the disaster and their families.

As we know, the earth quake resulted in the rivers having a risk of overflowing. People were forced to leave their hometown and go to safe places. Many residents escaped from the mountains and some got away from the countryside. Everyone was nervous and scared, especially the rescuers. It was a horrible condition.

Relief workers tried to save the quake victims out of the rubble day by day. However, it is unfortunate that most of them were already dead. Also, their families suffered deep pain and hurt.

Nature can be heartless and uncontrollable. None can escape from the disaster. We should join forces to fight the disaster. Fortunately, volunteers have revealed their goodness. They have volunteered to donate blood and money, which are needed to save quake victims.

This great misery can remind us that we are very fortunate. We should treasure our families and our lives.
